Rainelle, WV (WOAY)- Authorities are investigating a shooting that resulted in the death of a Greenbrier County man.
According to a press release from the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Department, on Sunday, August 4, around 12:27 p.m., officers responded to a call reporting a shooting in the Rainelle area.
Upon arrival, deputies discovered an alleged dispute over property between three individuals, which resulted in the shooting of 46-year-old Travis Osbourne of Rainelle.
Emergency services transported Osbourne to a medical facility, where he was pronounced dead.
The Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Department has not yet reported any arrest in connection with the shooting.
