GREENBRIER COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – Greenbrier County Schools’ technology department has been working all summer to set students up for whichever method they choose for this school year.
One of the top priorities has been making sure that all students in the county have access to materials. There is now Wifi access for students in every school.
“We have a staggered start, which is going to allow us to concentrate on specific grade levels,” said Greenbrier County Schools’ Director of Technology Vicky Cline. “Students come back a few at a time. We’re going to do safety training, health training. We’re going to do training on internet safety. It will give us time to do all of the things that we need to do to make sure that our students are safe and ready to learn.”
The technology department is ready for any challenges that it might face at the beginning of this unusual school year.
