Greenbrier County Schools release graduation plans

GREENBRIER COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – Greenbrier County Schools release graduation plans for 2020 seniors.

Greenbrier County Schools will honor graduating seniors from Greenbrier West and Greenbrier East High Schools by holding a modified in-person commencement ceremony at the West Virginia State Fairgrounds on their original graduation dates, May 29 for Greenbrier West and May 30 for Greenbrier East.

Two vehicles per student will be admitted to the ceremony for the graduation processional.  Student speeches will be presented in-person, and students will walk across the stage to be recognized in-person before stepping from the stage for the traditional graduation photo.  Radio Greenbrier will broadcast the ceremony on 103.1/The Bear.
