Fairlea, WV (WOAY) Greenbrier County Fire and First Responders Association invites the community to join them for an evening of remembrance during their annual Parade of Lights on September 11.
The event will feature a ceremony and candlelight vigil to honor and remember first responders and others lost during the 9/11 attacks.
The parade lineup begins at 6:00 pm at the Cecil H. Underwood Building.
The ceremony will take place from 6:45 p.m. to 7:20 p.m.
The candlelight vigil will begin at 7:20 p.m., with the parade following at 7:40 p.m.
The parade route will leave the State Fairgrounds on Route 219, pass McDonald’s, travel through Fairlea to Lowe’s, and circle back through town to the Fairgrounds.
