GREENBRIER COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – Greenbrier County has issued a local State of Emergency due to COVID-19, (coronavirus).

“By declaring a state of emergency it allows county officials to request and access resources we may need if we have a confirmed case of COVID-19 in Greenbrier County. At this time there are NO positive cases in Greenbrier County and the Greenbrier County Health Department will make announcements regarding any positive cases. With that being said, Greenbrier County is operational. County agencies are open normal hours to assist you with your business. We have asked the public to limit in-office business and to try to do what is needed over the phone, online or by email or postal mail. We have worked diligently to continue providing service to Greenbrier County still being aware of our employee safety. Please share this information I have provided in order to eliminate any undo alarm or panic!”
