Greenbrier County Clerk switches party affiliation

LEWISBURG, WV (WOAY) – After being a democrat her entire life, Greenbrier County Clerk Robin Loudermilk has made the decision to switch to the Republican party.

Loudermilk, who has been County Clerk since 2012, says after contemplating and watching her family and friends switch, she finally decided becoming a Republican was the best choice.

“I have been thinking about this for a couple of years, it has been dwelling on me. I watched the numbers increase and decrease. My family is Republican and I thought it is time for me to do what my heart is telling me to do,” said Loudermilk.

Loudermilk was the last person needed in order for the county to turn red.
