Greenbrier Board of Education hands out calendars to prepare for school year

LEWISBURG, WV (WOAY) – The Greenbrier County Board of Education announced its back to school plan three weeks ago.

Since that time, the Board has been working to align its plan with proposals from the state level. With just over two weeks until the start of the school year, the Board remains confident that it will be ready for the students’ return.

“We’ve aligned our plan with the governor’s and the Department of Educations’s color graphics,” said Greenbrier County Superintendent Jeff Bryant. “So we’ve used that to align our plan. Actually, since we had already planned ours using the metrics that the medical community had worked with us on, it was basically plugging and playing.”

The Greenbrier County School officials handed out school calendars to teachers and principals throughout the county this morning.
