Greenbrier and Mercer County animal shelters offering reduced adoption fees as participating partners in Bissel’s Empty The Shelters program

West Virginia (WOAY)- The Bissell Pet Foundation is dedicated to helping drive pet adoptions through its Empty the Shelters initiative.

The initiative is the nation’s largest funded adoption event.

The program makes adoption more affordable by covering fees.

Adopters can take home a spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped forever friend for $70 or less.

The Greenbrier and Mercer County animal shelters are reaping this month’s benefits as participating partners.

The initiative is active now through May 15.

Visit bissellpetfoundation.org for more information about the Empty the Shelters program.
