Great Easter evening, but line of storms expected tomorrow

Happy Easter to you all! It’s another warm and beautiful day across southern West Virginia, with temperatures running well above normal for this time of year. If you’re enjoying the sunshine, soak it up—calm conditions will continue through tonight.

However, changes are on the way as we head into the start of the new week. A line of storms is expected to move through Monday evening, right around school pickup and dinnertime. While Tuesday and Wednesday are looking drier, rain chances return again by the end of the week.

Temperatures will continue to run 5 to 10 degrees above average each day, but overall, it looks like a soggy week ahead. Keep the umbrella close and stay weather-aware with updates from your local weather team here at WOAY.
