Kanawha County, WV (WOAY) – The Charleston Dirty Birds hosted a grand slam school day event this morning at GoMart Ballpark.
The event brought hundreds of students from across the area to the park and gave them a chance to experience a day at the ballpark before opening day on April 21.
During the event, the dirty birds played a scrimmage match against the Black Sox, while students and teachers participated in games and activities held between innings on the field.
