Southern WV (WOAY) – Governor Patrick Morrisey says he will send three million dollars in grants to West Virginia Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster.
The money comes from the governor’s Civil Contingency Fund and will be spent helping West Virginians recover from disasters.
WV VOAD works with volunteer and faith-based organizations to get resources and manpower into areas dealing with disasters.
Governor Morrisey said partnerships are the key to providing effective, comprehensive relief.
