Mercer County, WV (WOAY) – Governor Patrick Morrisey ceremonially signed Senate Bill 570 into law at an event in Princeton today.
Hosted at WVU Medicine Princeton Community Hospital, the Governor spoke about the bill, which uses $199 million in federal funds to launch the rural health transformation program.
The money aims to expand access, develop medical talent in the state, make sure patients have access to reliable transportation to medical facilities, and help increase participation in healthy living.
Morrisey said the program is all about getting results.
