Oak Hill, WV (WOAY) – Governor Patrick Morrisey has appointed Carl Ayers secretary of the West Virginia Department of Human Services.
Ayers will take over for Alex Mayer, who left after serving just over a year.
Ayers was formerly principal deputy commissioner of the Virginia Department of Social Services. He has 20 years of experience.
