Kanawha County, WV (WOAY) – Governor Patrick Morrisey has appointed a new representative for the West Virginia Senate.
The Governor appointed Zack Maynard to fill the vacancy in District 7. Maynard replaces Mike Stuart. Stuart is now a part of the general counsel for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
Maynard has an extensive history with West Virginia law, as he was in the West Virginia House of Delegates from 2016 to 2022.
