Oak Hill, WV (WOAY) – Governor Patrick Morrisey has announced West Virginia’s America’s 250 anniversary celebration.
The four-day celebration will begin on July 2.
It will include a 230 foot tall ferris wheel and a nightly three-dimensional light projection show on the state capitol.
The event will run in conjunction with the annual Charleston Sternwheel Regatta.
Governor Morrisey said that West Virginia holds American values close to heart.
