Gov. Justice: Counties that move to orange will not be permitted to have in-person classes

Gov. Jim Justice

CHARLESTON, WV (WOAY) – Gov. Jim Justice has announced a change in the school color code metric system.

During his daily press briefing on Friday, Gov. Justice stated that orange counties will now no longer be able to have in-person classes.

Originally, just counties that started the school year in orange wouldn’t be able to go back.

Previously, any counties that entered red would suspend in-person classes, but now, if your county goes into the orange or red, schools will not have in-person classes.
