CANVAS, WV (WOAY) – The Good Evening Ranch in Nicholas County held their third annual veterans fundraiser.
The fundraising event called ‘Wheeling with Warriors’ includes a variety of fundraising activities, with proceeds going to local veteran groups. Some of the events included a car show, a raffle and a community dinner.
Bobby Wood, a manager with Good Evening Ranch said it’s been a pleasure for them to hold the fundraisers over the past three years.
“It was a couple of our patrons that had come up with the idea, and we embraced it. It’s turned out to be a nice event. All of our liberties we owe to our vets, in my opinion.”
The Good Evening Ranch invited veterans from all around the area to participate in the events free of charge.
