Bluefield, WV (WOAY) – Golden Ticket Cinemas announces grand reopening of the former AMC movie theatre in Mercer Mall.
According to a media release, Golden Ticket Cinemas 8 will open on Friday April 11, 2025.
Golden Ticket Cinemas is based in Durham North Carolina and has locations across 12 states. The company focuses on bringing top-tier amenities to small and mid-size markets.
“We’ve had our eye on this location for a long time,” said John Bloemeke, President of Golden Ticket Cinemas. “To finally open our doors and share this new, elevated movie experience with Bluefield is incredibly rewarding. The transformation is truly remarkable.”
The newly renovated theatre will offer luxury recliners, immersive picture and sound, and an expanded food and beverage menu. The theatre also offers private pods where guests can order food directly from their seats, along with unique Snuggle Loungers make the front row the
best seat in the house.
The chain also has plans to add even more exciting food and beverage options this summer.
