WOAY-TV (Oak Hill, WV): A front will drive in gusty winds and colder temperatures this evening followed by frequent snow showers overnight.
WIND: The strongest gusts of 40-45 mph will occur during the frontal passage between 6-9 p.m. this evening. Your power may flicker on occasion, but widespread outages are not expected. Winds will stay elevated overnight, but the peak gusts will drop to 30 mph.  Â
SNOW: A few gusty rain showers will precede the front, then snow showers are expected after 11 p.m. Most of the snow accumulation will occur between 4-9 a.m. Thursday. Total snowfall and travel impacts expected are below:
