Fayette County, WV (WOAY) – This Friday marks 25 years since the September 11 attacks.
For the first responders who remember that day, the anniversary still carries weight.
Deputy Chief Shannon Prince had been with the Oak Hill Police for only a year when the attacks happened, but still remembers the feeling that came over him that morning.
Prince says that after the attacks, people wanted to step up and serve in whatever way they could. He saw it inside his own department.
