Hico, WV (WOAY)Are you looking to refresh your wardrobe while helping the environment?
A spring and summer clothing swap is happening on Sunday, June 7, at The Freefolk Brewery from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
The event is possible thanks to a partnership between the Marshall University Southern Coalfields Alumni Chapter, the Big Green Club, and Freefolk Brewery.
Organizers invite community members to bring gently used clothing to trade for new-to-them items while promoting sustainable fashion.
Any clothing left over at the end of the event will be donated to the Helping Hands Community Resource Center to support local families in need.
The event offers a chance to clean out your closet, find some new styles, and keep clothing out of landfills.
