Raleigh County, WV (WOAY) – The YMCA of Southern West Virginia says it is able to offer free swim lessons to the first 100 kids to register for group swim lessons.
The lessons are paid for through a grant from YUSA.
The YMCA says lessons help kids build confidence, learn lifesaving skills, and get comfortable in the water.
Additionally, attendance is important to keep the program going and help secure future grant funding. Spots are limited to 100 total participants, although more classes may be added in June.
