Oak Hill, WV (WOAY)- Starting this week, you can order free COVID-19 tests from the federal government once again.
The program was suspended in May. However, You can now get four tests per U.S. household by placing an order at www.covid.gov/tests.
People without internet service can place an order by calling 1-800-232-0233.
The rapid tests can be taken at home and used regardless of whether someone has symptoms.
Some dates on the tests may show that they are expired, but the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has extended those dates through the end of the year.
The government previously shipped more than 755 million free COVID-19 tests to those who requested them.
