Fayette County, WV (WOAY) – A former employee of the New River Gorge National Park has pleaded guilty to stealing donations from the Canyon Rim Visitors Center.
James Masters admitted that he took $150 from a donation box in the visitor center.
He said that he covered surveillance cameras to hide the theft.
He now faces up to a year in prison, a year of supervised release, and a potential fine of $100,000.
