Athens, WV (WOAY)- The West Virginia Hive is gearing up for its next big pitch Southern West Virginia Business Idea Competition.
Five local entrepreneurs have been selected to take the stage.
The finalists were chosen from more than a dozen semi-finalists who submitted 90-second pitch videos earlier this year.
Those advancing to the live competition include:
Alexander Durand of Greenbrier County with “Mountain Table”
Brian Dennis and his music series concept out of Fayette County
Elizabeth Love of NRG video, also from Fayette County
Isaiah Beckett with 10 house music in Logan County
Natasha Zoe of Jarheads Kitchen in Monroe County
They’ll present their business strategies on Thursday, November 20, at Concord University, competing for thousands of dollars in cash prizes and technical support.
The top prize totals ten thousand dollars in business assistance.
The event is free and open to the public, and the audience will help choose one of the winners.
