Firefighters battle trailer fire in Bluefield

MERCER COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – Multiple fire departments responded to a trailer fire this evening.

Dispatchers say a person reported the fire on Sandlick Road after driving past it around 6:44 p.m. It’s unclear if anyone was inside or if the trailer was abandoned, but there were no reported injuries.

Montcalm, Green Valley, Bluewell and Bramwell fire departments responded to the scene. Dispatchers say firefighters started clearing the scene around 9 p.m.
