Raleigh County, WV (WOAY) – 34-year-old Quenin Owen Brown of Shady Spring pleaded guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm.
Court documents state that on December 28, 2024, Brown was arrested at a gas station on a warrant alleging a parole violation.
Police also discovered a loaded H-S Produkt model Hellcat 9mm pistol in a belly holster.
Officers then searched his car and found a loaded Glock Model 43 9mm pistol and a loaded Taurus Model G3 9mm pistol.
All three weapons were reported as stolen.
Brown was unable to have a firearm due to his conviction for unlawful wounding on February 6, 2012, and for fleeing with reckless indifference to the safety of others and possession with intent to deliver meth on November 13, 2018.
Brown knew this made him a felon, and he wasn’t able to have firearms anymore.
Brown is scheduled to be sentenced on October 27 of this year. He faces a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison, three years supervised release, and a $250,000 fine.
