Federal government to spend $425,000 on Mercer County

Mercer County, WV (WOAY) – Governor Morrisey says the federal government will spend $425,000 on transportation alternatives and recreational trails in Mercer County.

Projects include designs for new sidewalks in Princeton, rehabilitated and expanded trails at Glenwood Park, maintenance on the Hatfield-McCoy Pocahontas Trail System, and designs for a new railing on West Concord Street in Athens.

They are paid for through a federal grant program administered by the Division of Highways.
