West Virginia (CNN)- It’s time to give your postman a shout-out!
Tuesday, February 4, is National Thank A Mail Carrier Day.
This recognition aims to remind us how vital postal service carriers are to our daily lives.
You can show your mail carrier gratitude by saying thank you or giving them a token of appreciation.
The first organized mail service in the U.S. was established in 1775.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, more than 333,000 mail carriers were employed in the U.S. in 2020.
