FDA issues a recall reminder about Gerber’s “Soothe N Chew” teething sticks.

West Virginia (CNN) – The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is reminding parents that all batches of Gerber’s “Soothe ‘n Chew” teething sticks are under recall.

The FDA issued the recall reminder after reports that the product is still available at some retailers and online.

Gerber initially announced the recall earlier this year, stating that the product poses a potential choking hazard for babies and young children.

Retailers nationwide sold the strawberry-apple and banana-flavored teething sticks.

At the time of the initial recall, Gerber says at least one emergency room visit was reported.

Consumers should return the sticks to the place of purchase for a full refund.
