Fayetteville Police seize 1.2 Pounds of Meth in Hotel Bust

Fayetteville, WV (WOAY) – Two people are facing drug charges after Fayetteville police say they found more than a pound of methamphetamine and fentanyl inside a room at a local hotel.

According to the Fayetteville Police Department, officers went to the Quality Inn after a complaint came through Fayette County Dispatch about two people at the hotel. Police say they believed one of them had an active arrest warrant.

Officers identified the pair as Chris Tucker and Megan Osborne. Police say the warrant was for Tucker, out of Botetourt County, Virginia.

After obtaining a search warrant for the room, police say officers found a bag containing roughly 1.2 pounds of methamphetamine, 5.4 grams of fentanyl and an additional 5 grams of meth.

Tucker is charged with possession with intent to deliver, drug conspiracy and being a fugitive from justice. Osborne is charged with possession with intent to deliver and drug conspiracy. Police say both were taken to Southern Regional Jail without incident.
