Fayetteville named on USA Today’s list of ‘Best Small Towns for Adventure’

FAYETTEVILLE, WV (WOAY) – Fayetteville has made the list of 20 towns in USA Today’s competition for ‘Best Small Town for Adventure.’

Now it’s on the public to vote it in to the Top 10.

Fayetteville CVB Director Tabitha Stover says it was a team of experts from the national magazine that selected the top contenders and that alone is great exposure, but she’s encouraging everyone to vote to get into the Top 10.

“I think we’re number one personally but getting people all over the world to be like, ‘Hey. Fayetteville’s is this awesome adventure town, small town with so many activities,’ would be huge for us,” she said.

Voting will close on June 29 and you can vote once a day if you check out USA Today’s website for their Reader’s Choice nominations.
