Fayetteville County Emergency Food Assistance Center held a drive-through food pantry

FAYETTEVILLE, WV (WOAY) – This morning, Fayetteville County Emergency Food Assistance Center held a drive-through food pantry.

Starting at 9 a.m., the food organization gave over 300 food boxes to the community. Each box contained enough food for the entire week. Secretary Marie Williams said they will continue to pass out food boxes as long as they have food.

“We have been here for a long time and have served this community for a long time and people depend on us to supplement their food. So we hope that we’re doing great work for the Lord for these people,” said Williams.

The next drive-through food pantry will be held Monday at 9 a.m. on Court St.
