Fayette County woman facing several charges in connection with Oak Hill stabbing

Oak Hill, WV (WOAY)- Oak Hill police responded to a stabbing Friday, June 20, near the Pizza Hut on Pacwood Drive. 

Officers found 45-year-old Mark Skaggs of Oak Hill with a stab wound to his lower left arm.

While receiving treatment for his wounds, Skaggs was able to tell officers who stabbed him. 

Using a drone, police quickly located the suspect hiding in a nearby wooded area.

Two K-9 units were also deployed and successfully recovered the weapon used in the attack. 

The suspect, identified as 42-year-old Tiffany Angel of Victor, was arrested and taken to the Southern Regional Jail. 

She’s facing multiple charges, including malicious wounding, brandishing a deadly weapon, and domestic battery.

Bond is pending.
