Meadow Bridge, WV (WOAY) – A local woman is facing felony burglary charges in Fayette County.
According to Sheriff Mike Fridley, on Saturday, December 20, deputies responded to a complaint in the Meadow Bridge area.
The caller reported he owned a second home that was uninhabited and discovered a female inside the residence attempting to steal items when he came to check on the property.
Deputies arrived and took 48-year-old Shannon Bennett of Sewell Mountain into custody, charging her with felony burglary.
She now awaits court proceedings.
