FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office is looking to add a new deputy to its team.
In total, the sheriff’s office has three deputy positions open after the Fayette County Commission approved the sheriff’s request to add two new deputy positions. Sheriff Mike Fridley hopes to hire deputies who are community-oriented and eager to help others.
“I want someone that has a good head on their shoulders that wants to make a difference, that wants to help,” said Fridley. “Other than that, if you’re 18 to 45, take the test.”
The deadline to apply is Sept. 16. The test is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Sept. 23.
