Beckwith, WV (WOAY) The Fayette County Sheriff’s Department is asking the community to keep an eye out for two runaway teens.
The Sheriff’s Department reports two teen boys ran away from New River Ranch Children’s Home in the Beckwith.
Authorities are searching for 15-year-old Christian Woodrum and Dale Humphrey.
Woodrum is 5 feet 8 inches tall, with long curly hair, and Humphrey is 6 feet tall, with short brown hair.
Witnesses reportedly last saw the teens shortly before 1:00 p.m., wearing all black clothing.
One juvenile has ties to Kanawha County, and the other has ties to Ohio County.
Following a search of the area, deputies discovered footprints leading to the Gauley Bridge area that ended near the roadway.
Authorities believe the route suggests the teens got into a vehicle or found another means of travel out of the area.
