Fayette County sheriff’s department receives grant funding

FAYETTEVILLE, WV (WOAY) – Delegate Elliott Pritt presented the Fayette County sheriff’s office with a $7,000 check from the West Virginia Local Economic Grant program.

The money will buy new laptops for deputies. They use laptops to write their reports, issue tickets, and keep track of calls.

Sheriff Mike Fridley thanked Pritt for securing the funding.

“We are glad to have such a strong relationship with our Delegates and Senators,” Fridley said.
