Fayette County Schools will run buses to deliver food to students

FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – Superintendent Terry George has announced that starting on Monday, March 16, 2020, buses will be running their routes to deliver food to students while schools are closed.

“Beginning tomorrow Monday, March 16, 2020, and through the rest of the crisis we will make a combined breakfast and lunch delivery to all bus stops beginning at 10:00 AM. Students only will be able to obtain a food bag. Please remember to accompany younger students. Please remember the following things on the first day:

You may be waiting a while on the first day. The driver will begin at their first stop at 10:00 AM and work their way through their route. Please be patient. Drivers will be able to give you a specific time on that first day when they stop to hand out a food bag.”
