Fayetteville, WV (WOAY) – Fayette County Parks and Recreation announces that the pond will be closed to the public starting today.
Parks and Rec enacted the closure for Project: Adventure activities and to prepare for the kids’ trout derby on Saturday, April 26.
Project: Adventure is designed to prevent youth substance use by offering positive and enriching activities for kids to enjoy.
The pond will reopen on Saturday at 3:00 pm after the derby.
