Fayetteville, WV (WOAY) A Fayette County man is facing drug charges following a traffic stop in Fayetteville.
According to the Fayetteville Police Department, officers conducted a traffic stop on North Court Street near Beckwith Road shortly before 11:00 p.m. on June 24.
During the investigation, officers reportedly recovered approximately 10 grams of methamphetamine, 3.5 grams of cocaine, and a digital scale.
Police say the driver, identified as 54-year-old Wayne Wilson Treadway, was arrested and charged with reckless driving and possession with intent to deliver.
Treadway was transported to Southern Regional Jail without incident.
Police say the arrest reflects their continued commitment to addressing crime in the community.
