Fayetteville, WV (WOAY) – A Fayette County jury convicts an Oak Hill man on drug charges.
According to a media release from the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney of Fayette County, 30-year-old Justin K. Legg was found guilty of four counts of delivery of fentanyl that was mixed with Xylazine, Ketamine, and methamphetamine, and conspiracy to deliver fentanyl and methamphetamine on Wednesday, February 4, 2026.
Legg is facing three to fifteen years for each of the four delivery counts and two to ten years for drug conspiracy when he is sentenced on April 13, 2026.
According to court records, between September and October of 2024, Legg sold illegal drugs to a cooperating individual on multiple occasions in the Oak Hill area. The State also presented evidence that Legg’s drug trafficking continued into November of 2024 prior to his arrest. During trial, the State introduced over ten messages recovered from Legg’s cell phone which indicated that Legg knew he was dealing fentanyl and that he knew the fentanyl was mixed with other drugs. In the messages, Legg often bragged about the potency of the drugs he sold.
The case was investigated by the Central Regional Drug and Violent Crime Task Force.
