Fayette County, WV (WOAY) – A Fayette County man has been arrested after a high-speed chase through Winona last week.
Nathaniel Workman is facing charges of fleeing and obstructing law enforcement and reckless driving.
It all started when Deputy Clutter tried to pull him over on Route 60 for a defective brake light.
Workman allegedly sped off, and Deputy Clutter followed him.
According to a criminal complaint, Workman crossed the dividing line and ran several stop signs.
Deputy Clutter says Workman eventually stopped in the middle of the road and ran off towards a creek along Keeneys Creek Road.
Clutter was able to apprehend him there. The criminal complaint says Workman’s license was suspended.
