HILLTOP, WV (WOAY) – A Hilltop woman has died after being struck by a vehicle in Fayette County.
At 11:20 PM last night, the Fayette County 911 Center received notification of a pedestrian that had been struck by a vehicle on Legend’s Highway in Hilltop. The vehicle fled the scene north towards the direction of Oak Hill. After being transported to the hospital, the victim, Brandi Jo Miller (28 of Hilltop), later died. Deputies are currently conducting an investigation and speaking with potential witnesses.
