Fayette County Commission accepting applications to remove dilapidated structures

Fayette County, WV (WOAY) – The Fayette County Commision is planning to remove rundown structures in local communities.

According to a media release, the Fayette County Commision is accepting applications to assist property owners with the costs involved with removing dilapidated structures from their land using funds from a grant earmarked for that purpose.

Once the applications are received, the County will inspect and evaluate each property to determine if the structure meets the grant disbursement criteria.

The next round of applications will be accepted by the Fayette County Commission until October 1, 2025.
