Coal City, WV (WOAY) – Fire officials are investigating a fatal house fire that occurred in Raleigh County over the weekend.
According to emergency officials, the fire was reported early Sunday morning at a home in Coal City, WV.
While extinguishing the fire, crews discovered the body of a 31-year-old male in the home a short time later.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office and the Office of the West Virginia State Fire Marshal’s Office.
