Raleigh County, WV (WOAY) – The Beckley Police Department says that disturbing information in a viral social media post reported to investigators is unfounded.
The post, which was reviewed by Newswatch, suggested that a person had called 911 to report several allegedly murdered children.
That information turned out to be wrong.
The Beckley Police Department said that the information reported in the call was investigated and found not to be true.
The article came from a website that aggregates raw scanner calls into articles using AI and machine learning.
