Summers County, WV (WOAY) – Drivers can expect delays due to a scheduled bridge in Summers County.
According to a media advisory from the West Virginia Department of Transportation, County Route 44/3, Duncan Branch Road, bridge repairs will begin at milepost 5.89 beginning at 8 a.m. Monday, April 7, 2025, and will last throughout the day for a deck replacement.
Drivers are asked to be aware of delays and be patient with the crews on site. The plan is to allow traffic to cross the bridge periodically throughout the day, drivers can expect delays of fifteen minutes or longer. If possible, traffic is encouraged to find alternative routes.Â
Motorists are asked to obey all traffic control signs and devices and use caution while traveling around the work zone.
