RALEIGH COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – It’s a great time to connect woman to woman. The 27th Annual Women’s Expo is just days away.
Beckley Raleigh County Convention Center will be teeming with more than 150 small businesses, health services, and educational vendors.
It’s the largest vendor show in Southern West Virginia, with no two Women’s Expos ever the same.
Snap a picture with the Easter Bunny, connect with Spiderman, and there might even be a big foot sighting at the expo.
For event coordinator Lola Rizer, it’s always about the people.
“Over the course of two days thousands of people, we hope, come through and are exposed to (the vendor’s) products,” said the assistant Southern Communications program director. “This is a great way for them to find new customers and for customers and visitors to find unique items. It is so much fun.”
According to Rizer, the excitement is palpable once the doors open and everyone makes their way inside.
“People are discovering new things, making new friends or meeting up with old friends they hadn’t seen in a while,” the event coordinator said. “However you look at it, we’re having a good time.”
