Raleigh County, WV (WOAY) – New River Community and Technical College will offer three one-day forklift operation and safety certification classes starting this month.
The classes will be held on June 19, July 10, and July 24. The course costs $350 and will be held at the Advanced Technology Center in Ghent.
Successfully completing it earns a three-year forklift operator certification through United Rentals.
The course covers safety procedures, forklifts and their attachments, and OSHA requirements.
